In 1996 on 12th June Hill Women's Federation Leader Kalpana Chakma was abducted by Bangladesh Army officer Lieutenant Ferdous from her village New LalyaGhona in Marishya Upazilla.The abduction created public anger among the CHT people. They went out to the Road and protested. This incident created national and international concern. The intlectual and Human Rights concern people spoke out.
The then Government had to set up a probe body.
But After 13 years of the abduction Not even Government did not publicised the report .
Even the Army did not take action against the abductor Lt. Ferdous.
We want immediate releale of the probe body report.
We want abductor Mr. ferdous's punishment.
We want security of the women from atrocities by Security force.
We want free from Army Rule in CHT.
